Case Study in Brief: Water Jet Cutting Machine

One of the clients having a water jet cutting machine needed a solution to monitor cutting head temperature as it was the most vital part and very high value imported part of the machine. Any damage to the head leads to heavy replacement costs, time to import, and unplanned downtime. We delivered a solution to monitor temperature range and divided it into a yellow, orange and red level which are configurable.

Now with software which monitors temperature every 10 seconds, If the conditions are breached i.e. temperature goes out of range all the designated persons on floor shop gets a notification, SMS and automated calls in maximum 30 seconds.

Case Study in Brief: Kaeser Compressors

One of the clients in the forging segment uses Air compressor to power drop forging hammers. Any change in air pressure beyond acceptable limits ( PSI ) or any raise in temperature of compressor directly and adversely affects the production line.

We delivered a data acquisition solution and put in place an algorithm that monitors both Pressure and Temperature and gives almost real-time alerts if pressure drops below a certain level or if the temperature rises beyond a certain limit.

With this solution in place, the floor shop manager takes immediate corrective steps to maintain pressure as required and also to see that temperature doesn’t rise to a level that the Compressor is auto tripped.
